Wonderful cultivars for members only!

If you have dug and divided daffodil bulbs, and wish to share with other DSM members, please  let us know by Weds. Sept 9

We will be happy to prepare a photo to go with your contribution!

You are not required to bring bulbs to share!  Any active member (see left panel for your membership status) can come to the Bulb Roundup!

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Masks absolutely mandatory!

We all want to be safe, so please help that happen!

* If you are feeling even the least bit sick, please stay home!

* Masks are absolutely required.

* We will be outside (if rainy, in the garage, door open).

* We will provide hand sanitizer, but if you have a personal bottle, bring it for your own usage.

* Physical spacing will be urged, even when mulling over bulb options.

* No food - that would just temp us to remove our masks.  (Bring your own beverage if you wish.)

* You MUST RSVP, so we can plan physical spacing.  Email, or text or phone to 612-581-3426.

We will start at 10:00 AM, this coming Saturday, Sept. 12!

PERENNIAL PLANT SWAP

If you have divided perennials, such as daylilies, peonies, hostas, iris, etc., feel free to bring to share!

Bring plant divisions if you wish to share!

If you have any plant divisions that you'd like to unload, please bring them.  Hostas, daylilies, peonies, iris, coneflowers, etc. are all welcome!  It's entirely possible someone else will happily take them!  (However, if no one does, you will need to take them back home again.)

STAY FOR TRAILER DISCUSSION

We own a 17' trailer, and are considering selling it - input please!

DSM owns a 17' V-nose trailer, in which we have stored supplies for our spring show, and crates for bulbs.  The usage has not worked out the way we originally anticipated, and storing the trailer is about to get expensive.

  • update on recent theft and recovery of the trailer
  • current storage situation
  • if trailer is sold, options for storing the show supplies
  • costs

It will be helpful if we can make some decisions about the trailer and supplies storage.  We hope you can stay to participate (it shouldn't take too long).

PREVIEW OF 2021

2016 DSM show floor, with risers

Keep your fingers crossed for a 2021 show!

We HOPE to have a spring show in 2021!

We hope that we will be able to hold a daffodil show in the spring.  We have reserved our usual location at the Bachman's on Lyndale.  Put these dates on your calendar:

* Sunday May 16, 2021

* Monday May 17, 2021

All other potential events are up in the air.  We may need to have our Annual Meeting by a virtual method in January, and who knows about other activities.

Stay tuned, stay healthy.  And we hope to see you this coming Saturday, September 12th!
