The South-Western Ohio Daffodil Society was formed by a small group of ADS members on May 18, 1969. Previous ADS shows and events were sponsored by the Federated Garden Clubs of Cincinnati & Vicinity. By October of 1969 SWODS had 45 members and in April 1970 their first show was held at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
