Guy L. Wilson, of Broughshane, Northern Ireland, was among the premier daffodil breeders from the 1930s until his death in 1962. During that time he exhibited mostly his own high quality seedlings at the RHS shows, and was acknowledged as the foremost breeder of white daffodils. The RHS offers a trophy named in his honor for twelve white daffodils.
